Closure to 2014

Let's face it, everyone has the best intentions to create and maintain New Years resolutions. I know myself too well and resolutions have never been me. Instead I've thought over the past couple days of what 2014 had in store for me.

It was a year of learning from one extreme to another. I learned how to be professional, strong and continue to have character during hard times. I learned how to treat people regardless of differences because I saw and felt the negativity of others. I dealt with dishonestly and harassment. I learned that there is a difference between giving up and knowing when I've had enough. I learned to have self respect and create my own happiness. I learned how to be the change.

October was MY month, I owned it - rocked it out! I made that change. My new year started on October 25th and has been amazing since! 2015 is the year to focus on me, professionally and personally - surrounding myself with honest, loyal and fabulous friends!

I can now have closure on 2014 it's now the past, FINALLY!

To all the haters - this is for you (and if your reading this, why? you hate me!)
Karma, I hand it off to you girl, do your work!

Cheers to the good and bad times that only have made me stronger!

What is this "Waterford Worthy?"

So, you've come to find out...What is Waterford Worthy? "Someone  who is classic and stylish in every way." That's according to my Missouri Mother - Marilyn: inventor of the term. What's Waterford? It's crystal stemware - check out Neiman Marcus, darlings! (And other retailers, Neiman's just sounds more luxe over your typical department store at the mall)

Over the past couple years Waterford Worthy caught on and became a normal phrase and ultimately a major burn! "Well, they aren't Waterford Worthy!" Think 'on Wednesdays we wear pink' but classier! And instead of saying "oh they are just jealous of you" it's "Baby, you were born Waterford Worthy!"

I've had blogs in the past and coming up with a catchy name is real world s-t-r-u-g-g-l-e! Anyone remember the hardship of coming up with an AOL instant messanger screen name? Me, well I was horsegirl104! But that's beside the point.  After sitting in the car on a road trip to Upstate NY with a cocktail napkin full of scribbles, play on words and catchy names - I had it! It is then halfway to Glens Falls, NY that Waterford Worthy was officially my blogspot domain.

On this blog I'll share a variety of things: outfits of the week, what clothes I'm lusting over or maybe what I decide to dress Gingham up in. It's a toss up between fashion, DIY projects, what's on my mind, story telling and Gingham. I'm also open for suggestions! And just maybe co-bloggers or guests bloggers.

Bring it Ladies and Gents and maybe you too can be Waterford Worthy.
